NU NAME, SAME VISION
Sometimes to progress, change is needed. That is why CIC-LO is changing… and we couldn’t be more excited.
Since our launch in January 2020 we’ve been blown away with the response to entering the cycling market. We’ve had orders from all over the world, selling THE LONDON trousers across 15 countries.
Unfortunately, as we grow internationally, we’ve hit a trademark issue which means we have to change our name. We have taken this as an opportunity to dive deep into our core values to find a name that more clearly represents who we are.
It took a lot of back-and-forth with our name change. We wanted something which represented cycling but also something which incorporated change, movement and the future.
NU-VEL means New Urban Velocity and the name represents how the brand is innovating the cycling clothing industry and guiding it in a new and exciting direction, but also how everything we create is unique and designed with functionality and motion in mind.
We have big plans for NU-VEL and we couldn’t be more excited.
